An Evening with Bob Brannan

FWB Park Brown hosted an early evening networking event on Wednesday 6th March 2019, where we invited a select group of business leaders from a variety of backgrounds to come and listen to Bob Brannan speak.

In an interesting career spanning more than 40 years, Bob has helped a wide variety of very successful businesses in either an Executive, Non-Executive or Advisory capacity. These include, but are not limited to, Whyte & Mackay, William Grant & Sons, Ben Sherman, The Deltic Group, Duncan & Todd and Vets Now. Bob has built up a wealth of Boardroom experience working for entrepreneur-owned businesses and driving international business development initiatives, and has recently been asked to take up the role of Chair with the iconic Scottish Family firm, Walkers Shortbread.

Bob is a good friend of FWB Park Brown and generously gave his time to entertain a very engaged audience with interesting and amusing stories from his career to date. He talked us through some fascinating decisions he has made, alluded to business successes and failures he has been involved in and life lessons learned along the way.

The evening opened with some delightful drinks and canapes hosted at our 19 Alva Street offices in Edinburgh, which afforded attendees a chance to network with others in the Scottish business sector and concluded with an informative Q & A session.
