Diageo and FWB Park Brown co-host CSR Leadership Dinner

  • Uncategorized

Diageo and FWB Park Brown held a CSR Leadership Dinner on 21st September to bring together 90 of Scotland’s senior business leaders to debate issues in CSR including:

  • What responsibilities do businesses have in the communities in which they operate?
  • The relationship between business success and the reputation , relationship and investment in local communities

During the evening we heard from David Cutter, President of Global Supply & Procurement for Diageo who share with us Diageo’s CSR initiatives  around the world and the benefits that these bring to Diageo as well as to the communities which it supports.

We also heard from Martin Brookes, CEO of Tomorrow’s People – a charity which Diageo supports as part of its CSR focus.  Tomorrow’s People provides essential support and gives young unemployed people the confidence and the skills to find work, succeed in their new role, realise their potential, and value themselves.

The evening was a great success and thought provoking in terms of CSR and the role it can play in both small and large companies.

If you were unable to attend the CSR Dinner but would like to hear more about the discussions on the night, please get in touch with Ailsa Sutherland.
