Former Advisor to Richard Branson announced as new Chair of Craneware

Will Whitehorn has been appointed as the next Chair of Edinburgh Health Tech firm Craneware.

Whitehorn, former Corporate Affairs Advisor to Sir Richard Branson and the first President of Branson’s Virgin Galactic, will succeed current Chair George Elliot from the 1st of January 2020.

Founded in 1999, Edinburgh headquartered, Craneware develop financial and enterprise software solutions for the United States healthcare sector. George Elliot steps down after 12 years in the role having helped lead the business through its IPO on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange in 2007.

Commenting on the appointment Ailsa Sutherland said: “we are delighted to have advised Craneware on this key appointment and to have helped attract someone of Will’s calibre and experience to the role. We wish Will and the whole team at Craneware continued success going forward.”
