Ally Scott has joined Ernst & Young as a Partner and Head of Transaction Advisory Services practice in Scotland. He was previously MD of Barclays for Scotland & Northern Ireland.


Tesco Bank has appointed Declan Hourican as CFO and he joins from RBS.


Scottish Water has appointed Brian Lironi as Director of External Communication and he joins from SSE plc where he was Head of Corporate Affairs.


Colin Dingwall is the new Finance Director of Nairn’s Oatcakes, the iconic food manufacturer. He was previously with C&C plc and Heineken.


Enterprise Food Group, the high growth PE-backed supplier of supply chain management to the retail and food service sector has appointed Andy Peterson as CEO. Andy had a successful international career with Procter & Gamble.


CCL Logistics is a high growth one stop freight and parcel solution for UK companies and has appointed David Cockburn as Chief Financial Officer. David was previously a Partner in Grant Thornton and FD of Innis & Gunn. Mark Gibson, formerly of Bloxx and Memex has also joined to head up Sales & Marketing.


Richard Thorpe is the new Operations Director of Catalent, the global provider of drug delivery technology and development solutions and joins from Ethicon. Robert King also joins as Supply Chain Director and relocates from Dubai where he was Head of Logistics for Masood John Brown.


Aggreko plc has appointed John Broderick as Principal Engineer and he joins from Caterpillar in Ireland. Jamie Campbell also joins as Head of Product Strategy from Doosan Babcock.


As part of its continued and impressive development, Edinburgh Airport, backed by GIP, has made five further appointments. Danny Quinn joins as Head of Engineering from Burtons Food Group, Sam Edmonson is the new Operations Regulatory Manager having had a very successful career in the Army and Matthew Wilson has been appointed as Project Manager having previously been with Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Greg Scott formerly of Aker Solutions has also joined as Head of Operations as has David Bell, who joins from Sydney Airport as Head of Airline Business Development.


FTSE 100 Johnson Matthey, the global speciality chemicals and sustainable technologies company has appointed Samantha Macro as Regional Finance Director, based in Cambridge. She joins from AstraZeneca.


Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank Group plc has appointed Nick Walford as Head of Business Strategy. He was previously a Head of Strategy at RBS. Alison Kidd also joins as Head of Reward & Pensions from Lloyds Banking Group, where she was Head of People Risk. James Suttie also joins as Senior Reward Consultant from Sainsbury’s Bank.


Will Gold is the new Finance Director of Peak Scientific, the leading innovator in the design, manufacture and support of high performance gas generators for analytical laboratories. He was previously CFO of Premier Hytemp and formerly of Murray International.


Centek Group which specialises in delivering innovation, design and engineering expertise to casing centralization in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry, has appointed Gary Watson as Managing Director. He joins from GE Oil & Gas where he was Country Manager for its Artificial Lift business in Dubai.


Standard Life has appointed Elaine McCaffrey as HR Business Partner. She was previously HR Manager (UK, Spain & Scandinavia) for CommScope.


The Association of Project Safety has appointed Lesley McLeod as Chief Executive. She was previously Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Energy UK in London.


Stephen Smith has joined the leading industrial supplies company, Scott Group as Financial Director of its Pallets Division. He is formerly of Babcock International and UPM Tillhill.


Maxi Group, the construction, haulage and warehousing business has appointed Carrie Anne Rogerson to head up Finance for the business. She joined from Morgan Stanley.


The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) has appointed Elaine Gourley as Head of Organisational Development. She joins from Howden where she was Global OD Manager.


DySiS Medical is the developer of the next generation Colposcope with Advanced Cervical Scan and has appointed Alison Williamson as CFO. She was formerly FD of Aircraft Medical.


Jacqui Low, the Chair of Indigo (PR) and Director of Patrick Thistle FC has been appointed Chair of Fife Society for the Blind. Established 150 years ago it has supported generations of Fifers with sight loss.


Lee Shanks has been appointed as Business Development Manager for ROVOP, the BGF backed independent provider of subsea ROV services. Lee joins ROVOP from Forum Subsea Rentals where he was the Sales Manager.


The Hong Kong Centre for Carbon Innovation, funded by the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, BRE Scotland and Scottish Development International, has appointed sustainability expert Dr Shelly Zhou as CEO. She joins from Hong Kong Jockey Club where she led on corporate sustainability performance.


The Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) is the “go to” global centre for solving offshore mature basin, subsea and decommissioning technology challenges. As part of a significant and continued expansion they have made the following appointments: Malcolm Banks formerly of BP as Well Construction Solution Centre Manager; Chris Pearson is the new Small Pools Solution Centre Manager; Luca Corradi, latterly with Accenture has been appointed as Innovation Network Director and Rebecca Allison joins from Lloyds Register as Asset Integrity Solution Centre Engineer. David Wilson has been appointed from Hunting Energy Services as Knowledge & Communications Manager; Adam Lea – Bischinger as Asset Integrity Solution Centre Manager and Mark Lappin as University and External Relations Manager. He joins from Centrica.


Paul Clayton has joined i2i Pipelines as Business Development Manager. Paul is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience in the pipelines industry, his experience covers the full range of pipeline activities, from field operations to sales and commercial development with companies like Kershaw and Latterly with GE PII as UK and Ireland Sales Manager.


Andy McGoff has been appointed to the role of Finance and Commercial Director with Edinburgh Napier University. He joins following seven years with Bloxx, recently acquired by Akamai Technologies.


Congratulations also to both John Heasley, the new Group Financial Director of Weir Group PLC and Barbara Smith, newly appointed CEO of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland on their internal promotions. Both had originally joined their organisations via FWB Park Brown.


Kay Thomson has been appointed Executive Director for the British American Foundation of Texas in Houston, a non-profit organization providing financial assistance and educational opportunities to academically-gifted students in the United Kingdom & the United States who otherwise might not be able to pursue their education due to financial constraints.
