HR Dinner with Gary Steel, former Group Head of Human Resources and Member of Group Executive Committee of ABB, the global leader in industrial technology and operates in 100 countries and employs over 135,000.

Gary, who has received recognition in his career for seeing talent and leadership through the eyes of a global business leader spoke about how to create an agile HR function which serves the needs of the business by attracting, inspiring and empowering the right people. He underlined the importance of the HR strategy being tailored to achieving the business goals. Within ABB he established a performance focussed global human resources organisation which put a culture of accountability, people development and professional processes at its core.
