Ian Munro named as new Rector of Dollar Academy

Ian Munro has been announced as the 14th Rector of Dollar Academy following the retirement, in June 2019, of current Rector, David Knapman.
Ian is currently Rector at Kelvinside Academy in Glasgow and has previously taught at George Heriot’s, Gordonstoun and Shiplake College in Oxfordshire. He will take up his new post in July 2019.
Commenting on the appointment Judy Wagner said: “we are delighted to have advised Dollar Academy on the appointment Ian Munro as their new Rector having also assisted with the appointment of outgoing rector, David Knapman, in 2010.
