The Opportunity:

Following a strong set of results and a view to strengthening the Leadership Team as the business expands, Fairfield are currently looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer to assist in their growth and scale-up plans.

The Chief Financial Officer position will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the Company, including the development of a financial and operational strategy and performance metrics tied to that strategy, in line with Chris and Colin’s vision and mission.

The successful individual will join the Leadership Team alongside Chris and Colin, and will have 3 direct reports: the Group Financial Controller, Compliance Manager and Office Manager.

Part of the ‘need’ for this hire is the on-going development and increasing complexity of the business and subsequent reporting, analysis and commercial decision making required. The added importance behind the recruitment is the longer-term growth plan and value proposition and therefore the improvement in systems, reporting, management information and processes that will provide the required platform for growth and scale.

This, combined with the attention from Oaktree, requires the successful individual to be strong technically with a strict attention to detail, as well as growth minded with a strong commercial aptitude.

FWB Park Brown are running an exclusive Search process to manage this recruitment with first interviews being carried out by Michael Dickson before formal interviews with the leadership team of Fairfield Real Estate.

A competitive package reflective of these responsibilities will be discussed with appropriate candidates.
