Our client, CALA Homes are the UK’s most upmarket home builder. The business is delivered through 8 operating companies covering Scotland, the Midlands and South East of England. CALA Homes (West) Ltd., which operates throughout West Central Scotland, is an ambitious and well regarded residential development company with a growing turnover, profit and diversity of location and product. The business is now seeking to appoint a Commercial Director to join its Board in what will be one of the most exciting residential development opportunities in the market place.

CALA operate across a diverse range of development sites delivering high quality homes from both their standard product range and a series of bespoke developments where the site requires a different solution. Occasionally this will involve refurbishment of old buildings and the creation of innovative new products which can be technically and commercially challenging. We are seeking a senior Commercial Director who has residential experience, ideally from within the house building or residential development sector, although we are able to consider other relevant backgrounds including consultancy and the construction sector more broadly. The successful Commercial Director will be an experienced relationship builder, who will sit on the divisional board, lead a sizeable team and be able to challenge the status quo. The role will appeal to ambitious commercially qualified individuals seeking to develop their career with an outstanding residential development business.
