Finance Director

Signature Pub Group owns and operates an impressive portfolio of over 20 pubs, restaurants and hotels throughout Scotland. Within its portfolio are The Rutland Hotel, Kyloe, Badger & Co. and Copper Blossom in Edinburgh, The Spiritualist, Smokin’ Fox and The Raven in Glasgow, Nox and Paramount in Aberdeen and The Saint in St Andrews. In 2018 it also launched its own successful small batch brewery, Cold Town, and opened Cold Town House in Edinburgh.

The business has a strong track record of innovation and investment in its portfolio and has grown to become a major player and significant employer in the leisure and hospitality sector in Scotland.

The opportunity has arisen to add to the existing strength of the Leadership Team with the appointment of an outstanding, commercial Finance Director. The Finance Director, based in Edinburgh, will be required to lead the finance strategy in alignment with the overall strategy of the business.

This will involve developing the Finance team to deliver best in class service to all internal and external customers and partners, ensuring robust financial systems, processes, procedures and operational finance support are in place to meet the needs of the business. Working closely with the other Directors to negotiate contracts, manage projects and drive efficiencies, future growth, value creation and the positive performance of the business.

It is likely that the preferred candidate will currently be operating as a Finance Director within the hospitality, leisure, retail or FMCG sectors. Relevant industry experience is strongly preferred.
