Finance Director

Following a restructuring of the leadership team this role has been created to provide succession to the current Group FD as they step up to become Group Chief Executive.  The focus of the role is mainly on the commercials of the business rather than the statutory and other aspects of group accounting which are well managed by a group finance team, led by a very able Group Financial Controller.  The business is multi-site with locations throughout the UK and the FD will be expected to work closely with the Regional MDs and their management teams to enhance business performance.

Backgrounds in retailing, hotel, catering and the service sector generally would be of particular interest.  Candidates must have a strong commercial aptitude, a strong focus customer service and a willingness to give the commitment necessary to driving the performance of  a 24/7/365 business.  Given the ambition and plans of the current owners, the incentives on offer could potentially be exceptionally rewarding.
