Interim – Head of Financial Control & Reporting

About the role

Our client is a market leading producer of food products serving a range of customers globally, employing several hundred people across a number of production facilities within the UK.

Due to positive restructure, there is now a requirement to appoint an interim Head of Financial Control and Reporting for the UK (initially for six months).  Reporting to the UK Finance Director, the role will manage the operational finance function for our client, ensuring all financial controls are implemented and reviewed and therefore all financial reporting is produced on time, accurately, including a clean and accurate balance sheet. As a member of the management team, the individual will ensure that the finance team supports the overall strategy of the UK business.

It will also support the wider organisation in providing financial analysis of the global business units.

Candidates will ideally have experience of working in a divisional or single entity trading business in a similar role, although we will consider candidates who have experience in Group positions.  They will have experience of managing small to medium sized teams in a financial control and reporting capacity, and the ability to undertake tasks where necessary and deliver through their teams.

They will hold a relevant professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or CIMA) and have relevant post qualification experience.
