Portfolio Director – Investment, Scotland

Our client is an active investor in growing businesses across the UK and this is a unique opportunity to work closely with many of Scotland’s most exciting organisations. 

Over the last 10 years the organisation has invested over £1.5 billion across more than 230 growing companies, the significant majority of which have been outside London and the South East of England.

With a focus on long term equity investments, they look to help ambitious companies across all sectors to think big and maximise their potential. They will consider a wide range of growth strategies and will also invest in early stage, established and listed companies.

We are working with the client to appoint a Portfolio Director to help manage and support its existing and future portfolio in Scotland. This will involve working closely with, and in some cases sitting on the boards of investee companies.

Suitable candidates will have significant experience of equity investment either as an investor or perhaps through gaining experience of working in a commercial leadership role within a business which has attracted external equity investment. They will be both financially and commercially astute and very strong interpersonally.
