Crosswind Developments is backed by Global Infrastructure Partners, a company with a global reputation for delivering infrastructure projects of scale. They are undertaking the development of a strategically important site in Edinburgh which will include affordable housing, commercial development, retail and leisure. The layout of this unique development will be optimised to ensure it fits the needs of its occupants and develops an area in the west of Edinburgh that is strategically important for the whole of Scotland.
It is one of the best-connected sites in Scotland with air, road and rail connections right on its doorstep; a brownfield site, ripe for redevelopment that will enhance the surrounding area. Crosswind will host a unique digital destination which will help drive significant growth of the technology sector in Scotland with the aim of establishing Edinburgh as one of the top European Tech Cities.

Crosswind Developments is now ready to appoint a Project Manager to drive masterplanning towards achieving outline planning and subsequently progressing the site to being development ready.
The Project Manager will have relevant experience in overseeing similar innovative place developments – this is not just a construction development. The site has been launched as the ‘digital quarter’ and will be a driver for the development of the rest of Edinburgh as the Data Capital of Europe.
Candidates should have a demonstrable track record in place making and construction project management, ideally with experience in similar types of masterplanning i.e. smart city/sustainable and inclusive design projects. A recognised qualification in Project Management, Building Services or Construction Management would be desirable.
We are looking for a proactive, creative Project Manager who will relish the opportunity of being part of this exciting development from the outset. The candidate must have a track record in disciplined reporting of time, cost and scope, a proven capability to produce project documentation suitable for Board and shareholder level which reflects the risks and dependencies we will face. We are a small and innovative but commercially grounded team.
