The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland – Centenary Gala Dinner ….

  • Uncategorized

Last year FWB was pleased to manage the assignment to appoint a new Chief Executive and a Chief Operating Officer for Edinburgh Zoo. This year is the Centenary year for the Society and a major programme of events is planned to celebrate the 100 year history and to mark the moment they lead into the next century.  A Gala Dinner has been planned to celebrate and reflect on the zoo’s achievements and be a spectacular event at which ‘the wonder of living animals’ will be more than just a slogan.  It will also be a key opportunity to drive forward the Society’s mission to safeguard endangered species and habitats, at home and abroad, and inspire future generations with a wonder for nature and the excitement and value of conservation.

The Dinner will be a time for people to celebrate and be a part of something vital – a fantastic evening, with some surprise guests, extravagant and intriguing entertainment, and the opportunity to buy some wonderful and completely unique auction items – all in a wonderful and unusual setting established for this night only, in The National Museum. It will be a superb event to entertain clients, friends and colleagues, and to support our Zoo at such an important time for the Society, as it looks back on 100 successful years, but more importantly to the important work it will be able to do in conservation in the future at such a significant and challenging time for many species.
