We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2019 Executive Women’s Leadership Programme.
Now launching its fourth year, over 150 women from all sectors and functions have graduated from this programme, gaining a mixture of career advancement, promotions, awards and accolades, and forming a strong network of ambitious, talented and successful women across all parts of the economy.
An interactive, high level programme, this is for women aiming to progress within senior management or Board level as the next stage in their career. Each session is led by specialists in the subject matter from the University of Edinburgh Business School’s senior management team and the level of teaching is Executive MBA and above. Guest speakers at each session include leading Chairs and CEOs from business who lead an interactive discussion on different aspects of senior management.
The programme runs from late May to early December 2019 with a break during the summer.
Further details are available within the 2019 information brochure.
This will be the last year the programme will be run. Our focus thereafter will be growing and developing a powerful network of well over 200 women as they progress into more senior roles within their organisations, influencing and adding significant value across all parts of the economy.
If you are interested in being a part of the final EWLP programme and joining this alumni, please contact email@example.com, as reservations for places are being taken and delegate numbers are limited to ensure strong interactive learning and discussion.
I enjoyed every moment of the programme, not only did I learn lots, I made great contacts also. The information you get is invaluable, and I dip into "my little red book" constantly which is full of great tips from great people. Finally, the course allowed me some very valuable "me" time and the power of being in a room full of diverse and supportive female peers is amazing and helps you really develop, learn and grow your confidence.
The Executive Women’s Leadership Programme has definitely been one of the most valuable development opportunities that I’ve undertaken in my career.
There are so many aspects of the programme that I found highly valuable. The course content is highly engaging, it’s very varied and the delivery of materials is provided by an interesting mix of academic professionals and very interesting successful, professional business people, their stories are highly relevant. I found myself taking forward several pieces of content from each and every single session I attended.
The course group of women is an amazing source of support, information and guidance. Our group truly felt very close to each other and I used several group members to share ideas with, network and discuss business and job opportunities. I will certainly keep in touch with each of our group as we take our learnings forward to progress our careers.
It’s been quite a special experience to be part of this programme and I feel very grateful to have been part of this as I progress my career further into executive levels.
I just loved the mature way it was run and managed. I loved the external speakers, I used to look forward to it and when I came away from the sessions on a Saturday I was buzzing for the weekend. I’ve built a whole new network and what surprised me is the strength of some of those bonds that in normal circumstances would take a few years of working to develop. So in short, thank you thank you. I totally loved every second of it and would urge anyone who has the opportunity to engage with the Programme. It’s the best leadership Programme and networking forum I have ever engaged in.
