Decom North Sea appoints John Warrender as new Chief Executive

Decom North Sea, the leading membership body for the oil and gas decommissioning sector, has appointed John Warrender as its new Chief Executive. Decom North Sea is a vibrant, well established not-for-profit organisation with a membership approaching 370 companies. Prior to taking up his new position, Mr Warrender spent more than 20 years with industry giant ConocoPhillips in a range of technical and leadership positions, before joining the board of Repsol Sinopec as managing director for Sinopec’s UK subsidiary.
Commenting on the appointment, John Cameron said “We are delighted to have advised Decom North Sea on the appointment of their new CEO at what is undoubtedly an exciting time for the North Sea decommissioning sector.
