CMS Window Systems, the PE-backed manufacturer of aluminium and PVC window systems, has appointed David Ritchie as Chief Operations Officer. David was formerly Chief Executive of Havelock Europa plc, having built his career with Parsons Brinkerhoff, Balfour Beatty and Wimpey Construction.
Origo is a very established Fintech company dedicated to improving the operating efficiencies of the Financial Services industry. It has appointed Anthony Rafferty, previously of Aviva, as its new Managing Director.
Stevenswood, the PE-backed, leading multi-profile distributor of windows, doors and conservatories has appointed Will Gold as Finance Director. He was formerly of Premier Hytemp and Murray International.
Ian Stevens has been appointed Chief Executive of PE-backed BioFilm, the developer and manufacturer of thin dissolvable films used to produce unique dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices and over the counter drugs. He has previously been CEO of Touch Bionics and Mpathy Medical and CFO of Optos plc.
The Scottish Football Association has appointed Ana Stewart as a Non Executive Director. She is the founder of i-design, a banking software company which went on to list on the LSE and subsequently be sold to NASDAQ listed Cardtronics.
Steve McCarney, formerly of Heineken has joined Walkers Shortbread, one of Scotland’s most iconic businesses, as Chief Commercial Officer.
Lomond Capital, the high growth property group, has appointed Pete Flockhart as CFO. He was previously Regional Relationship Director with Bank of Scotland’s Commercial Banking division.
The Faculty of Advocates has appointed Iain Reid as Chief Executive. He had previously been Finance Director of Sunergos Innovations, The National Trust for Scotland and Newell & Budge.
Robert Carr has been appointed Chair of Edinburgh Airport Consultative Committee. Robert is a Partner of Anderson Strathern, a Regent of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the RSA and a Solicitor for the Crown State (Scotland).
Aberdeen headquartered Ramco Group has appointed former Dominion Gas Managing Director Russel Davies as its new CEO. It has also appointed Gavin Booth as Sales Manager of its Pipetech division.
PE-backed Dobbies Garden Centres has appointed Andy Horrix as Head of Property. He joins from Turner & Townsend, having previously been with Havelock Europa plc.
Ashtead Technology, a market leader in providing fully integrated equipment solutions serving the subsea and onshore environmental monitoring and inspection sectors has appointed Brett Lestrange as Regional Director.
Ian Cumming MBE has joined Carewatch Care Services as Deputy Managing Director. He joins from Guideposts Charity where he was Director of Fundraising, Communication and Development.
In a number of HR appointments Julie Catto has joined Howden as Global Head of Reward from similar position at Wood MacKenzie and Lynn Smith is now Strategic HR Partner at Co-op, joining from Thorntons Law. Alison Cooper also joins Co-op as Strategic HR Partner from RBS Asia and Martin Glover is now HRD at Morton Fraser, having been Global Head of HR & OD at Wood Mackenzie.
Melissa Hope, formerly Head of Commercial Contracting for Domestic Retail with SSE plc, has joined the Nuclear Liabilities Fund as Executive Secretary. The fund, a Scottish registered company, manages investments to provide funding for the waste management and ultimately decommissioning of the eight nuclear power stations across the UK.
Edinburgh Airport has appointed Linsey Jordan as Head of Commercialisation. She joins from Exova PLC where she was Corporate Development Manager, having previously worked in Corporate Finance for PwC.
The world renowned Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) has appointed Angela Moreland as its new Director of Finance and Corporate Services. She joins RSNO from Sense Scotland where she was Head of Finance.
Dale Harris joins Dundee-based ATL Turbine Services as General Manager. ATL is a leading engineering services business in the repair and overhaul of turbine engine components to the highest quality standard and reliability. He was previously Vice President Subsea Lifecycle Services at Aker Solutions in Aberdeen.
Peter Carty has been appointed as Production Director at Begg & Co, which produces luxurious scarves and throws from the finest fibres including cashmere and silk for its own brand as well as for some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses. He was previously Manufacturing and Plant Quality Manager at Jabil Circuits.
Dawnfresh, a leading privately owned seafood farming and manufacturing business, has appointed John Young as Finance Director. He was previously Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Harkand and Group Finance Director at G1 Group plc.
Olu Baptist has joined Peak Scientific, the leading innovator in the design, manufacture and support of high performance gas generators for analytical laboratories, as Global Sales Director. He was formerly Director of Sales at Heatric, a division of Meggitt plc.
Houston based Raptor Lift Solutions is a start-up company backed by CSL Capital Management focused on providing artificial lift equipment and services to the oil and gas industry. As a result of its rapid growth, it has made a number of appointments including Claudia Prindle as Buyer and Michael Schofield, Robert Haskell and Jan Horn as Senior Sales Representatives.
TWMA, a market leader in integrated drilling and environmental solutions to the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, has appointed Mark Beveridge as European Regional Director. Mark joins following a long career with Sparrows where he latterly served as Regional Operations Director. It has also appointed Tony Staples as Global Account Manager, based in Houston. Tony previously held the role of Business Development and Technical Sales Manager at Schlumberger.
Scottish Ballet has appointed Alison Thomson as its Private Giving Executive. She joins from the London Symphony Orchestra.
CCL Logistics, one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the UK, has appointed Alan Whiting as Head of Marketing. He was previously Head of Group Marketing with the Wesleyan Assurance Society.
Don & Low, the leading manufacturer of woven & nonwoven polyolefin technical textiles, has appointed Nick Grieve to lead UK Sales for its construction nonwoven products. Nick joins from SIG plc and has previously worked at Ecotherm Insulation and Lafarge.
Alan Hughes joins Kelvin KBB as Regional Director. Kelvin KBB is Scotland’s leading manufacturer of high quality kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms and supplies directly to some of the largest house builders and developers throughout the country. He was previously National Sales Manager at Franke.
Declan Flood has been appointed as Site Engineering Manager at North British Distillery Company, the major producer of grain whisky spirit sold to global customers for blending purposes. He was previously Site Engineering Manager and Site General Manager at Tennent Caledonian Breweries.
Paul Mosson, joins The Law Society of Scotland as Executive Director Member Services and Engagement, having spent a significant part of his career working for the Bar Council of England and Wales, latterly as Director of Services, Representation, Policy and Service Group.
