FWB Park Brown’s Texas team celebrated the office’s second anniversary last week with a drinks reception held at the home of the British Consul General in Houston’s River Oaks district. Mary McIntyre, Managing Director Houston, and her team were joined by clients and other guests for the event and the team were also delighted that John Cameron, a Director in the FWB Park Brown Aberdeen office was able to join the celebrations.
Karen Bell, British Consul General, welcomed everyone to her home and took the opportunity to celebrate the strong commercial links between the United Kingdom and Texas. She also congratulated Mary and the team on their continued success.
Mary spoke to the guests about the progress made in growing FWB Park Brown’s footprint in Texas including introducing new members of the team, Amber Weliver and Martin Killick. Finally, she thanked all those present for their support over the past two years and looked forward to another successful year ahead. The conversation flowed in the room particularly around the improving situation in the Oil and Gas sector in Houston. Mary also commented on the global upturn in activity, with FWB Park Brown managing assignments in the oil and gas sectors in North & South America, Europe, Scandinavia and the Middle East.
