FWB Park Brown recently held a business reception in Houston with the help of British Consulate General Karen Bell. Karen, who has recently transferred to the City from Hong Kong, opened her home in Houston to over 60 executives from both local and global businesses for the evening. Scott Black and Mary McIntyre (Managing Director – Houston) were present from FWB Park Brown. Predictably the prospects for the Oil sector dominated the discussion; however there were also numerous conversations about the diversity of the ‘local’ economy and the strength of other sectors, notably Medicare.
