Launch of the SHRLG Operating Board

Scottish HR Leadership Group (SHRLG) – Developing the HR Community in Scotland

The Scottish HR Leadership Group (SHRLG), which was established in 2018 to develop the HR community in Scotland through a leadership group of the top HR professionals has today launched its first Operating Board. The Operating Board’s purpose is to support the SHRLG board to broaden the impact and increase activity in the network. The SHRLG since inception have brought international  speakers such as Monica Lewinsky, Erin Brockovich and most recently Wesley Hamilton to their members events.

The operating board were appointed through a robust interview process led by Gill Scott, former HR Director of Aegon UK and Jaclyn Needham, Director FWB Park Brown.

The launch event took place at St James’ Quarter on Monday 6^th of February where the Ops Board was launched by SHRLG Chair, Rosemary McGuinness, Chief People Officer, Weir Group.

Following the launch of the Operating Board, SHRLG Chair, Rosemary McGinness said  “It was a pleasure to join the inaugural meeting of the SHRLG Operating Board in Edinburgh today.  It’s clear that we have brought together a fantastic group of high potential HR leaders who will work together to establish what is important to the HR community in Scotland and work together to address the most important issues.  I look forward to working with them and seeing them contribute and grow through this experience.”
