The Law Society of Scotland has announced the appointment of Diane McGiffen as its new Chief Executive. Diane will start her new role on 5th January 2022 succeeding Lorna Jack who will leave following 13 years with the Society.
Diane brings extensive experience to the role having worked in senior roles at Audit Scotland for the last 20 years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, where she has led on strategy, corporate plans, governance, risk and performance.
Commenting on the appointment Ailsa Sutherland said: “We are delighted to have advised the Law Society of Scotland on this key appointment and wish Diane and the whole team every future success.”
