We are looking to speak to candidates with M&A and commercial due diligence experience predominantly in the energy sector. This role is London or Aberdeen based and hybrid working is offered.

Westwood’s commercial advisory team are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual to support and further develop their business against the backdrop of a transitioning energy industry.  

This Associate Director will be tasked with: 

  • General business development to increase awareness of full WGE offering across the Europe & Middle East marketplace. 
  • Preparation of commercial bids as well as sourcing and securing new consulting mandates from both corporate and financial sector clients. 
  • Project Management and execution of consulting projects as well as working with other regional WGE consulting teams as appropriate. Supervision of analyst teams and responsibility for project quality & outputs. Communication of project progress & conclusions to client stakeholder groups. Projects will include (but not limited to) commercial due-diligence studies, market sizing & assessment, commercial strategy and asset valuations. 
  • Presentation of WGE research & analysis at external industry events and internal webinars.

Further there would be an expectation to liaise with WGE research teams to create strong understanding of current and aspirational capability of each WGE business unit and product, and liaise with these teams to understand and prioritise key new areas for WGE research. 

This role is based in London or Aberdeen, with a hybrid working model.
