Procurement Manager

Our client is a private equity backed provider of oilfield services. The business is growing fast and is currently looking for a Procurement Manager, based in Houston, to lead on procurement.

As the procurement lead for the organization, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for setting up the procurement policies and procedures; qualifying vendors, creating all purchase orders, sourcing all materials and negotiating with and managing all vendors. The Procurement Manager will be the lead for all procurement functions of the organization and must be able to collaborate with all departments to ensure the best procurement processes, procedures and strategies for the company are achieved.

Suitable candidates will ideally have five to ten years’ of experience in procurement within oilfield services. Beyond that, we are looking for a proactive and resourceful self-starter, with strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a growing, fast-paced organization.
