Chief Executive

Our client is a very highly regarded organisation which has a long and successful history. A great emphasis is placed on its independence, scientific integrity, quality of output, values and its people.

Research is undertaken independently and at the behest of a range of major sponsors in government and its agencies, industry and charitable institutions. Consultancy engagements are with a large number of clients, large as well as small. The organisation is headquartered in Edinburgh and has offices throughout the UK and also one in Southeast Asia.

The remit is to appoint a Chief Executive who will develop the leadership team and take the organisation from strength to strength while respecting its history, values and science. To be successful in this role a scientific background isn’t required although some scientific understanding / appreciation would be beneficial. More importantly a good business background and commercial acumen is essential along with strong people skills including the ability to work with a range of stakeholders and customers.
