Overview of the Role
IGS are looking to hire an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You will be a key member of the Senior Management team, reporting to the CEO. You will have a broad, strategic role in the overall management of the company, helping IGS prepare for the future and optimise current operations.
The CFO has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation and managing of all the finance and support activities of IGS, including IT, HR and administration.
The CFO will be the independent assessor of risk in the organisation providing the appropriate corporate governance.
In particular, the CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with considerable Finance leadership at a senior level. He or she must have experience, and an understanding of the process, of raising finance and funding through Banks and Private Equity. The CFO should also have experience of working in a high growth business with the ability to work on several different time horizons simultaneously. This is likely to have been in a manufacturing or hardware environment, dealing with complex supply chains
Experience of leading a team within an International context is also important. This specifically should include trading, treasury, contracting and currency work in several different countries.
At IGS, we support the principles of Equality and Diversity in employment and recognise the value of a diverse team. We therefore encourage applications from individuals with varied experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
