About the role

Ithaca Energy is a leading independent oil and gas company with production, development and exploration operations in the UK North Sea, headquartered in Aberdeen. The Company was founded in 2004 and has grown through a combination of acquisitions and new field developments.

In 2019, Ithaca successful concluded the acquisition of Chevron’s North Sea assets, making them one of the largest independent energy companies in the UKCS. Over the last three years, the organisation has been on a rapid growth journey, acquiring producing and development assets from Mitsui, Marubeni, Sumitomo and most recently, Siccar Point Energy. The acquisition of Siccar Point is a transformational deal for the business, sealing Ithaca’s position as a leading independent E&P operator in the UK North Sea and boosting output by 8,000 to 9,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) to a range of about 75,000 to 85,000 boed. The organisation continues to maintain this positive momentum and harbours ambition to continue to grow via acquisition and diversification, as well as driving towards a successful IPO.

FWB Park Brown are delighted to be working with Ithaca Energy to recruit the newly created role of Corporate Finance Associate. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, the role will contribute towards the delivery of Ithaca’s strategic aims by providing analysis and support across all aspects of Corporate Finance. The appointee will input across a range of corporate finance and investor relations activities, interacting with key internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, debt / capital markets, banks, credit agencies, existing and potential investors and regulatory bodies. The individual we seek will be a proactive and adaptable individual who marries technical capability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
