The Oil & Gas Technology Centre and the University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University are partnering to create two new multi-million-pound Centres of Excellence, one to tackle current and future decommissioning technology challenges and a subsea Centre to address subsea technology challenges.

Reporting to the CEO of OGTC, the Director for Centres of Excellence will collaborate closely with the two Aberdeen home Universities and Industrial Partners to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational stakeholder engagement plans, programmes, projects and initiatives to establish the Centres’ vision, goals and direction. The Director for the Centres of Excellence will be responsible for the successful launch, management and growth to ensure each Centre meets their respective objectives.

The Director for the Centres of Excellence will have excellent business and communication skills,  the ability to manage multiple work streams, develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships and deliver a challenging workscope against a defined schedule.
