Director – Quality & Manufacturing Development

This is a critically important, strategic role within the business and will support growth across the organisation by embedding Quality in everything we do.

Reporting to the General Manager UK & Ireland, this role has responsibility for leading the OU Quality function including all aspects of Quality, Technical and Manufacturing Development in the UK & Ireland. This will involve you working closely with production, NPD, supply chain and a variety of business unit stakeholders, to develop, align and execute the QA strategy for the business.

You will also play a key role in contributing to Group Quality initiatives which will help shape the future direction of Quality globally for the business.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Leader with experience of driving standards and improvements with regards to overall quality assurance and manufacturing development in a high-volume production environment. You will bring experience of developing Quality strategy and be able to demonstrate world class execution of this in a relevant business.

You will have a passion for people development and an understanding of how to create and nurture high performing teams in a complex business structure.

We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years’ experience in related Quality Management disciplines preferably in a multisite environment within, but not limited to, the FMCG industry.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a science, engineering or related discipline and have a working knowledge of all relevant ISO systems (e.g. 9001, 14001, OHSAS18001, 22000 or BRC)
