Drilling and Wells Excellence Manager

As its new Manager, you will be central to the success of Drilling and Wells Excellence Knowledge Centre, acting as the catalyst between industry and academia and building on RGU’s formidable reputation in this field. You’ll be responsible for delivering the revenues detailed in the Institute’s business plan, seeking partners and customers for the Institute’s services and for meeting the business plan targets. There is significant scope to increase the RGU Drilling and Advanced Rig Training (DART) team’s activity (which you will manage) as well as other spin off activities.

Although academic experience is not required, the ideal candidate should have substantial industrial experience, including, extensive, senior-level knowledge of the drilling & wells sector, augmented by experience of designing and delivering successful commercial proposals. Knowledge – and ideas – of how best to blend the complementary expertise that exists across industry and higher education will be especially advantageous.
