The Sales Director will lead an in-country sales team across Europe and take full responsibility for delivering the European sales target. Together with the European management team they will also lead strategy; implementing a plan and driving motivation to exceed sales targets and deliver sustainable growth. They will work closely with the Business Heads, Key Account Managers, Group Sales and Marketing Director and Marketing Teams on all aspects of selling and will personally lead key accounts and large tenders.
The successful candidate is likely to have existing experience from an Engineering environment, including the Energy or more general Industrials sectors, and have a proven track record of sales success at a senior level. A mix of leading both field based and in-house sales teams would be useful and experience with CRM tools is crucial. Experience of managing multi-location and international sales teams is also a key requirement.
