Glenapp Castle Hotel has been growing rapidly and sustainably for over seven years with significant investment.  We are a destination hotel with 65+ activities and experiences and with a food and service offering at its very heart. We are looking for a Financial Controller who will bring the requisite vision, skills and organisational leadership to take the business forward. This exciting phase of expansion leads us to this wonderful opportunity for this person to work alongside the General Manager in order to help grow and diversify the business and take their existing team to new levels.

The Financial Controller will maintain the accounting records of the company, providing accurate, timely and relevant information. This role will formulate, implement and co-ordinate all policies and procedures relating to the Finance department of Truestone Glenapp Castle Ltd.

You will be managing all areas of finance, accounting, purchasing, IT, payroll, HR and compliance and enhance where possible, the efficiency and profitability of the company through relevant control procedures.

You will have previous experience in a financial controller role and ideally in-depth knowledge within the hotel sector. Candidates should also display the ability to drive a culture of proactivity, operational and commercial excellence and ability to balance a number of competing priorities along with positive leadership. Possessing a professional accountancy qualification and evidence of maintaining professional development along with extensive Quick Books and Sage knowledge will be required.
