Finance Director

We have been engaged to source a high calibre Finance Director to supoort the CEO of an exciting, technology led business based in Ayrshire, Scotland. The business is enjoying a sustained period of growth and is now entering the next stage of development. The Board wish to invest further in the senior management team and appoint a highly commercial Finance Director to support and challenge the CEO, to help further grow the business through a combination of acquisition and organic growth and to establish the business as the market leader in its chosen markets. This will be a great time to join the business.

The Finance Director will report to the CEO and participate as a member of the Board, ultimately responsible for all financial aspects of the business and expected to add value across all areas. This will be a key appointment in growing the value of the business over the medium term and ultimately helping to realise a successful exit for all shareholders.

The Finance Director will hold a professional Finance qualification, will be highly visable and hands-on within the business and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of growth. The successful candidate will display instinct, commerciality and behaviours that are aligned with the business, be experienced in the use of technology as a key driver of competitive advantage and highly motivated and driven by the opportunity this presents. The Finance Director must also live within a sensible commuting distance of Ayrshire or be prepared to relocate for this role.
