Our client offers a one-stop, turnkey service for global contract manufacturing combining high quality machining with design capability, hydraulic services, fabrication skills, assembly and test and project management. Focussed across the Oil & Gas, Defence and Aerospace sectors, the company also provides contract manufacturing and support services.
The company is privately funded and was formed via acquisition and now comprises seven manufacturing operations across four key locations in the UK.
The core focus of the organisation in the short-term is to identify and implement operational efficiencies across the businesses whilst retaining its core capabilities so that it can respond positively to market opportunities as conditions improve and new markets are developed. Creating a culture of working as a group to sell effectively into the different industry groups will be another key objective for the new CEO.
The investors remain committed to the longer-term growth of the Group and have a defined strategy for continued growth.
Our client seeks to appoint an individual possessing a proven track record of achievement at senior management level carrying P&L responsibility, ideally gained within the oilfield product sector, candidates must also demonstrate direct experience of success within a manufacturing environment.
This represents an outstanding opportunity for prospective candidates as it offers the opportunity to lead the business, influencing both internal and external factors directly relating to the ongoing success of the business. In addition, perceptive candidates will also recognise the future opportunity to become an increasingly influential figure in a business that has many strategic options going forward.
