Head of Finance

Amici was founded in 2005 and has quickly become the market leader of procurement and materials management solutions for Biotech businesses in the UK, with a growing customer base in the US market. Our Biotech customers undertake incredible work every day to bring life changing therapeutics to patients. Amici has an important role in supporting the customer’s supply chain through the use of their proprietary software and service, allowing them to act as a virtual purchasing department delivered through their software solution.

In recent years, Amici have significantly invested in the business, and now have over 80 employees. As they embark on their next adventurous phase of growth they are looking to add some ambitious talent to drive exceptional service to the business and their customers.

Amici are seeking to appoint a Head of Finance who will take full ownership and accountability for the finance function and its deliverables. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO in delivering and developing the Finance Strategy to support the growth ambitions of the business, including US expansion, and the evolution of Finance into a true business partnering function.

Candidates will be professionally qualified accountants who have operated within an SME or other high growth environment and have had experience in a Financial Controller role or similar. They will be able to demonstrate an ability to work at all levels within an organisation, both strategically and as a ‘hands on’ finance professional who can build strong relationships, listen effectively and collaborate across the business to bring solutions to support the business needs.
