Verlume has been delivering energy transition projects since 2013. The business provides intelligent energy management through two main areas of technology; energy storage and remote power, to a range of energy sectors including subsea energy transition and offshore wind. Energy storage is a cornerstone technology for low-carbon systems and Verlume’s ground-breaking subsea technology places the business at the forefront of the energy transition, decarbonising and integrating resilient clean energy systems.

Verlume’s flagship Halo product is a scalable, modular subsea battery energy storage system with integrated intelligent energy management, specifically developed for clean energy delivery in the demanding underwater environment. Having recently secured a number of new contracts in world-leading projects in the subsea energy transition and offshore wind sectors, Verlume is poised for a rapid period of growth at a large-scale.

To support this growth and success, Verlume requires an experienced Head of HR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ‘hire to retire’ across the business and in a growing business will also be required to deliver a wide remit from designing strategy, to making sure Verlume is legally compliant.

This is a flexible role which would suit someone looking for a reduced working pattern, ideally 24 hours across a week. The role will be challenging, a chance to actively influence a successful and growing organisation and an opportunity to use all the HR experience you currently have.
