Head of QHSE

About the role

Our client, Enva is a full-service and leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, employing over 1100 people at locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland. With sustainability at the forefront of its proposition, Enva recovers a broad range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for re-use in manufacturing and for energy conversion, as well as providing a complete portfolio of water and waste water services.

The Head of QHSE in Scotland reports to the Managing Director of the Recycling and Resource Recovery business, which is headquartered in Linwood. The Scottish Recycling and Resource Recovery business (which this role leads QHSE for) has 350 staff and 106 vehicles between the four sites across Scotland (Linwood, Newbridge, Irvine and Glenrothes) and will require regular travel to each of these locations.

We are ideally looking for candidates from the manufacturing or waste sectors but we would also consider oil and gas, petrochemical, heavy machinery and construction/engineering sectors. Road safety and processing experience, as well as relevant environmental qualifications would be highly regarded. Multi-site experience will be important but is not an absolute pre-requisite. The Head of QHSE will lead a small team of 4 people.

As the previous incumbent has departed, there is an immediate requirement and hence we would also consider candidates on an interim or interim to permanent basis.

Interested candidates should send their CV, with full remuneration details, to Adam Brown, of FWB Park Brown at applications@fwbparkbrown.com.  For a confidential discussion, please call 0131 539 7087.
