HR Operations Manager

The Role

This role leads the smooth delivery of the end-to-end HR processes for all employees, from attraction through to exit.  With the support of the HR Assistant and working closely with the HR Business Partners and the HRD, the HR Operations Manager will develop and refine systems and processes to ensure a positive employee journey.

This role has impact across ICAS and manages several key external relationships, such as payroll, benefits, pensions etc.  A core aim of the role is to aid the ability for self-service by employees and managers through the provision of clear processes and easily accessible guidance.  Acting as first escalation for all HR queries into HR, the HR Operations Manager will liaise with the HR Business Partners, providing insight and data on respective business centres, where appropriate, and will lead on cyclical activity, such as annual salary reviews/performance appraisals.

 

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a CIPD qualified HR generalist with recruitment experience and a thorough understanding of HR Policy and Procedures. Working directly with an HR Administrator this role will manage the various query routes into HR, ensuring where possible that questions are answered at first point of contact but also recognising where escalation is required or where themes are emerging that require action.
