Managing Director, Scotland

Our client is a leading producer of  ingredients for the aquaculture feed, animal feed, petfood, and bio-fuel markets.  The Company’s business addresses the growing global market demand for protein ingredients from sustainable and renewable sources.

Following recent investment, the company is looking to set up its UK operations, which is seen as a key growth opportunity for the business.  We are looking for a Managing Director who can set up the operation and grow the team and the business, winning and delivering work for customers in the region.

We are looking for an MD with a combined background of business development and operations know how, as well as an energetic and enthusiastic approach.  Candidates with a knowledge of the aquaculture industry will be of particular interest.

We are looking for a ‘business builder’ and self-starter with an entrepreneurial outlook who can work within a Group structure and play a key part in the Senior Leadership Team.  You will have autonomy to build the business and should be able to demonstrate experience of either building a business from scratch or significantly contributing to the growth of a division of a similar company.

The MD role attracts a generous basic salary and bonus as well as an opportunity to participate in equity.
