OGTC was created as part of the Aberdeen City Region Deal, with £180 million of UK and Scottish government funding to maximise the potential of the North Sea. Our purpose is to support the oil and gas industry to develop and deploy technology to accelerate the transition to an affordable net zero North Sea. This focus on net zero is in support of the UK and Scottish government’s net zero commitments for 2050 and 2045 respectively.
Since we opened our doors in 2017, OGTC has been supported by our people, members and partners to evaluate more than 1,000 technologies, invest in more than 250 projects, deliver more than 50 field trials, grow more than 25 new companies and deliver more than 20 commercialised technologies.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing communications manager to join our team. We have a strong track record and culture of delivery and have an exciting story to tell.
The marketing communications manager will be responsible for managing OGTC’s message and brand and for executing the marketing communications strategy, ensuring direct alignment with OGTC’s business goals and objectives.
He/she will be responsible for the delivery of strategic communications and content that reflects OGTC’s innovation and technology focus, understanding different stakeholder groups and ensuring channels and messages are tailored and fit for purpose, leading a team and providing inspiration and direction within a fast-paced culture.
We require an enthusiastic and driven professional who can provide strategic communications advice and guidance to the CEO, External Relationships Director and the senior leadership team. Someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for creative content.
This is an excellent opportunity to join OGTC at a pivotal time for the organisation and the future of the North Sea in the transition to a net zero basin.
