The Opportunity

This is a period of significant change within ADL, and a new Marketing Director is sought to lead the development of a Group wide Marketing strategy, the development of a high performing team and its ongoing evolution.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build something from the ground up in a progressive business committed to continuous improvement.

The Marketing Director will have full accountability and autonomy for the leadership of the entire marketing, communications and public affairs functions within the Group and will work closely with senior stakeholders and the Executive to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy which will help to grow the ADL brand and sales and service revenues.

Responsibilities would also include;

  • Development, maintenance and optimisation of workload and resources to support sub-brand and market-specific strategies for business development
  • Identification, analysis and recommendations of new market opportunities working closely with the Group Commercial Director and cross functional teams
  • Oversight of all marketing and communication outputs from the company
  • The management and participation in conferences, events and tradeshows which support the marketing strategy for the Group
  • Raise awareness of ADL’s commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices

 

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a senior marketing and communications leadership role in which they have led change or supported growth on a large scale.

They will have experience of leading and developing high performing teams focused on business partnering and innovation in marketing.
