Our client is a global private equity backed Support Services business providing market-leading rental and service contracts to a wide range of industrial and manufacturing clients.
In line with its significant growth strategy our client is now looking to attract a Managing Director for its International Division. The role is a direct report of the CEO and takes leadership for all of the “high growth” countries for the group, including multiple locations across the globe. Each country has a Managing Director and corporate structure which reports into this position.
Whilst the group has funding and support for acquisitive growth, the success of this role will be measured by the organic growth of the International Division, for which there is a sizable opportunity given the low maturity of the business in these markets. There is also an opportunity to develop into new markets via both existing and new products. Support for organic growth is a core part of the group’s strategy and is supported by the leadership and the private equity backer.
Due to the high growth nature of the International Division, our client is looking for a Managing Director who has a strong sales background. The ideal candidate will already have some demonstrable P&L experience however Sales Directors who have very good experience with people leadership, cost control etc., ideally from an international background will be considered. A Support Services or other Industrial, Manufacturing or technical background would also be preferred. Given the high profile of the role within the business, together with the sizable opportunity to contribute to significant growth (target 50% year on year), there is a clear career development opportunity for the successful candidate.
The role will be based in London with significant travel.
