Our client is an established and successful supplier of both domestic and business critical products, based in the North of Scotland and supplying customers throughout Scotland. The business prides itself on excellent customer service and has an excellent track record of building lasting business relationships over many successful years of trading with both consumers and suppliers, developing a culture where emphasis and value is placed on honesty, transparency and business ethics. Following a period of sustained organic growth and successful strategic acquisitions, they are looking to appoint a Managing Director to lead the business as it looks to continue on its successful growth trajectory.
We are seeking to identify candidates who are commercially savvy, capable of managing a large and multi-disciplined team and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, price sensitive and competitive environment. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how product markets work, offering their knowledge and experience to structure commercial arrangements that maximise long-term profitable growth. Candidates, if not already living within a commutable distance, must be willing to relocate to the area.
