Our client is a rapidly growing privately owned engineering business which manufactures a range of products which support the construction industry. Due to the growth the business they are now looking to strengthen the senior team with several key hires including an Operations Director who will report to the CEO.
From an engineering background, the Operations Director will be responsible for helping the company to achieve its delivery, quality, sales turnover and profitability targets by:
- Ensuring that all jobs are manufactured to the appropriate quality standards, customer build specification and that the end to end manufacturing process is efficient and cost effective. This will involve:
Communicating with suppliers, throughout the business and with customers
Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload
Overseeing purchasing and inventory management
- As a key member of the senior leadership team you will be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the company’s strategic as well as operation targets and objectives.
