Peacock Salt are the largest importers of salt in to the UK. They are also a 5^th generation family business with great heritage and history. They do however remain at the forefront of the industry in terms of product innovation, quality and customer service and have a strategy to further enhance this, producing sustainable and profitable growth. They are indeed “Serious about Salt!”

The Sales Director will join the company’s Board and play a strategic and influential role throughout the business, leading a team across all its customer segments including industrial, de-icing, food, cosmetics, water softening, animal feed, aquaculture and pharmaceutical.

Candidates therefore must demonstrate successful and relevant experience in this area and also of making the use of clever marketing to enhance Peacock’s proposition. Experience of, or an ability to work within a family-owned culture will also be key to success. The right skill set and cultural fit are however ultimately more important than specific sector background.
