About the role

Novel Technologies Holdings, Ltd (NTH) develops and commercialises technologies designed to improve the lives of people during their use of everyday products with a textile or coating component.  The introduction of SILVERbac, an innovative anti-microbial technology, has created the need for an experienced sales professional to lead the sales and business development efforts of NTH in the UK/EU/ Middle East markets.

We are looking for candidates with experience in technical product sales (ideally from within the polymer or technical textiles industries).  You will be a hands-on, customer focused, and experienced sales leader with responsibility for customer development and satisfaction across multiple product sectors and market segments. Responsible for identifying growth opportunities with existing customers as well as identifying new customers and segments while ensuring outstanding customer service and consistent delivery of high-quality products.  NTH has traction with a number of primary partners in the region already including within medical devices, hospitality and coatings.

The Sales Director will:

  • Partner/collaborate with internal team members for Product Development, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance to create a customer experience that fulfills the customer’s expectations and creates a unique brand identity in the marketplace
  • Drive profitable revenue growth developing and utilising key performance metrics and standardising operating procedures and scorecards
  • Develop and refine forecasts for individual customers and overall area based on customer information, historical data, and recent trends
  • Have strong project management skills and will clearly outline opportunities, helping set strategy, engaging multiple teams and management of the overall process from beginning to end throughout the region of responsibility

Candidates should have:

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership in textile, polymer, chemical additive or emerging technology industries
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Textiles, Polymers or related field
  • Strong commercial growth mindset with an excellent understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and financial business drivers
  • Strategic planning skills and a track record of driving successful change initiatives
  • A flexible, team-player attitude with a bias toward action and proven project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple terms
  • Analytical and strong negotiating skills
  • An ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
