About the role

**NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS**

OGTC has been established to be the go to technology centre for the oil and gas industry. OGTC has a clear purpose to develop and deploy technology to accelerate the transition to an affordable net zero North Sea. The organisation is part funded by government and industry led. OGTC values creativity, a passion for the North East of Scotland and delivering a net zero North Sea.

OGTC’s TechX programme is designed to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to embrace the challenge of net zero and help deliver a step change in performance. Reporting to the CEO, the TechX Director has ultimate responsibility for the growth and delivery of OGTC’s entrepreneurial programme. This programme spans a clean growth accelerator programme, the creation of an effective entrepreneur pipeline, a female founder programme and an incubator/scale up programme. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent business & communication skills, the ability to manage multiple work streams, complex relationships, fund attraction experience and the ability to deliver a challenging work scope against a defined schedule.

This role is instrumental in creating the entrepreneurial ecosystem required to support the transition to a net zero future. The role will work closely with OGTC’s Solution Centre which delivers a wide portfolio of projects in partnership with industry. In addition, the role will build an extensive network across academia and start up clusters to ensure the North East of Scotland’s TechX cluster is well connected and integral to the UK’s entrepreneurial landscape.

This is an excellent opportunity to join OGTC at a pivotal time for the organisation and the future of the North Sea in the transition to a net zero basin.
