Trustee

About the role

** Please note that Cyrenians are handling the recruitment of this post directly

For over 50 years, Cyrenians has tackled the causes and consequences of homelessness. We understand that there are many routes into homelessness, and that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to supporting people towards more positive and stable futures. That’s why all our work is values-led and relationships-based.

Are you passionate about a fairer, more inclusive society? Would you like to join an innovative, compassionate charity that’s leading the way in tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness?

Cyrenians’ values-led and relationship-based services support people excluded from family, home, work, or communities.  As need for their services has grown, so have they, and they’re looking for new trustees to contribute to their vision and five-year plan.

They are particularly keen to add people with critical thinking skills and/or experience in health, employability or education. You may have gained this through working in policy, or in the third or public sector, or through lived experience.

They would like to enhance their board to better reflect the diverse individuals and communities they work alongside, so they welcome applications from all backgrounds. Cyrenians is a place for learning, innovating and connecting, so whether you’re already an experienced trustee, or taking your first step, they would love to hear from you.
