Senior Technology Transformation Appointments …

We are delighted to have been selected as the recruitment partner for Student Loans Company (SLC) to support them with several significant appointments within their technology team.

SLC has over 6.9 million customers and a loan book of £74m. It is one of the UK’s largest retail lenders and will continue to experience significant growth. SLC is also the first government agency to meet the Digital by Default Service Standard.

To maintain the pace of growth and change, SLC has embarked on a major transformation programme to upgrade infrastructure and further automate processes. These have been designed to future proof the digital delivery of a highly effective, efficient and flexible service to customers.

The objective is to make SLC a digital, customer focussed centre of excellence and to achieve this, several new key appointments require to be made. Each with remits which are crucial to the success of the transformation. The roles all report to the Chief Digital Officer and are;

• Chief Technology Officer
• Head of Banking Platform Delivery
• Chief Architect
• Transformation Programme Director
