Tech Scale Up Round Table Dinner

On Thursday, 10 October 2019, FWB Park Brown, together with Royal Bank of Scotland and Adam & Co, hosted guests from some of Scotland’s leading tech and fintech businesses at a Tech Scale-Up Dinner.

Keynote speaker and non-executive Chair/Director of over 20 companies, George Elliot, brought a unique perspective of commercial, financial and international expertise with his proven track record in profitably growing technology companies. His main achievements have centred around building and bringing to market successful companies (including three IPOs) that compete and win on the global stage. He provided insight into what growth companies should be considering and how to achieve their ambitions.

The evening also provided an opportunity to meet five tech entrepreneurs who are scaling up their businesses in partnership with The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Entrepreneurial Hub in Edinburgh and to share experiences and war stories. Hosts from FWB Park Brown, Directors Adam Brown and Ailsa Sutherland, facilitated a lively and entertaining discussion after dinner, which created a platform for guests to engage in a conversation relevant to their own businesses.
