Screenmedia is an award winning digital consultancy which provides design and technology services to a variety of clients which include NatWest, Virgin Money, Honeywell, Britvic, Edrington and CalMac.
Founded in 2004, the business has grown to around 60FTE, with significant appetite for future growth.

It is an exciting time in the business’ history, and it has ambitious growth opportunity and plans. There is a strong board of directors, a senior leadership team and emerging new talent. The company seeks to strengthen leadership in its development business and opportunities for growth are significant.
With a well-established technical delivery team in place, a new Chief Technical Officer is now sought to lead and grow this. For the right candidate the role offers the headroom and ambition to take on the role of Deputy Managing Director, working closely with the Founder, Kenny Shaw.
The Chief Technical Officer will primarily lead on Technical Consulting i.e., helping to win new client commissions, lead client engagement from proposals to specifications and programme design. With growth in mind, the CTO will also be responsible for attracting, engaging and recruiting new talent, and the development and care of the team.
Working as part of the senior business team the role will be varied, in the fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Screenmedia are looking for an experienced Technology leader, with the right mix of technical, commercial, and strategic experience, and to operate more broadly in the role of Deputy MD.
The successful candidate will bring experience of growing, leading and developing of technical teams (preferably within a digital agency) with an understanding of the Microsoft technology stack (especially back-end and Azure API integrations), agile project management, development operations, team resourcing and people development.
The CTO will have a broad range of technical skills and commercial vision, excellent team working skills and great interpersonal skills to join Screenmedia’s expanding business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the CTO will be actively involved in the development of this forward thinking, innovative and expanding company and will be at the forefront of key technical decisions within the business.
